Update on Marcus Rios
True Grit Sports congratulates our own Marcus Rios on being selected to participate in 3rd annual ESPN RISE Games at Disney’s Wild World of Sports Complex. He has received his official invitation to compete in the 2011 Champion Athleticwear GridIron Kings, which will take place July 22nd-25th in Orlando, Florida.
This exclusive competition will feature the country’s most elite, individually selected skill players. The three-day event will offer him an opportunity to refine his football skills, receive expert coaching, compete in 7-on-7 and 1-on-1 drills, and garner national media exposure all while enjoying a multitude of Disney’s world renowned theme parks and attractions.
During the competition, he will receive advanced on-field and classroom instruction. The emphasis will focus on fine-tuning position-specific techniques and learning to recognize and attack various offensive/defensive packages. This competitive and informative experience is one that he will cherish for years to come.
TGS is very proud of Marcus being selected to participate and compete in the premier high school football competition in the country. He will meet other top high school athletes from across the nation and most of all, this will be a chance to have fun, learn, improve and acquire that edge that will help elevate your game to the next level. Also, he will have the opportunity to be mentored by some of the finest football minds in the nation. What a well deserved earned honor!
